N.E.R.D. member, Pharrell, has his mind set on opening a youth center in Virginia. Pharrell wants the youth center to resemble a tree house and provide a way for students to release their artistic abilities.
Pharrell on his visions for the youth center:
“I wanted to provide people with the same opportunities I got. My teachers didn’t let me go until I had realized my potential. They taught me to fight my way out of a paper bag.
“Children need guidance and creative discipline and someone to be there when they fall. They also need a safe haven. At the moment, arts organizations across the U.S. are having their funding cut and we can’t let that happen. There’s so little regard for creative skills. Where would we be without design?”
Rihanna’s tour lead to Dallas the other night but her performance was cut short after a small fire broke out near some lighting fixtures above the stage. Rihanna was removed from the stage and the production crew were able to put the fire out before anybody got hurt.
Rihanna later tweeted to her Dallas fans:
“DALLAS!!! We set the stage on FYAH tonight!!! LITERALLY!!! I’m so pissed, I was having so much fun wit yall too!!! I gotta come back man!!”
Keri Hilson performed at the Gallery Nightclub rocking a softer version of a military inspired enssemble in Vegas over the weekend and afterwards was spotted at the Sugar Factory in Vegas indulging in an abundance of sweets.
Sexy songstress, Jill Scott, has a lot to celebrate these days. After leaving her former record label and signing with Warner Brothers records, Jill Scott has proved that even with a hiatus from the music scene that she could come back full powered with her new album, “The Light Of The Sun” by becoming number one on the Billboard 200 chart. According to Billboard.com, Jill sold 135,000 via Nielsen SoundScan. If you are a die hard Jill Scott fan you have already copped this new soulful CD and if you are not then one listen and you will be just as hooked as we are.
Super Bad Bish, Rihanna, held a concert at the Los Angeles Staples Center where she rocked out in her signature red locks and barely there outfit. Rihanna took over the stage as she performed hits from her old and new album and worked the crowd with her mesmerizing moves. Currently Rihanna is touring throughout the country for her Loud tour and just recently replaced opening act, Cee-Lo (Cee-Lo dropped out from the tour), with R&B crooner, J.Cole.

The Queen Bee, Lil Kim, performed at Club 57 in New York along side transgender icon, Amanda Lepore. Lil Kim performed some of her hottest tracks and even had Amanda Lepore join her on stage for a special collaboration of Amanda Lepore’s hit song, Champagne.
Fergie and her fellow band members of The Black Eyed Peas will be holding a free concert in connection with the Robin Hood non-profit organization to he;p raise funds for the fight against poverty. The concert will take place on June 9th in Central Park. Singer Taylor Swift is also slated to make an appearance at the show. BaddestBish.com was in the building at 244 Peters Street in Atlanta to show luv to the owner, Sabrina Peterson, as Teyana Taylor hosted the 2nd anniversary of Atlanta’s HOTTEST salon. The event brought in a full house of Bad Bishes waiting to get pampered by receiving 22K gold nail manicures and get an exclusive look at the new Violent Lips (GlamBar is the only carrier of the product in the US so far). Attendees received a goodie bag full of products such as Remy Hair and Remy Eyelashes and Sugar Mafia t-shirts. DJ Traci Steele was on deck to keep the crowd moving. Students at a middle school in Harlem, NY got the shock of their life as they were surprised by Bad Bish Bee who came to support the ‘Lets Move Flash Workout” program that was implemented by Michelle Obama. The kids were supposed to be putting on a show that included a dance routine of one of Beyonce’s songs when Beyonce herself showed up to participate as well. Beyonce has been showing her full support for the program by remixing her version of her hit song “Get Me Bodied” into “Move Your Body”. The campaign is to encourage kids to stay fit and exercise and fight against obesity in children.

Ciara performed on Times Square to show support for National Pregnancy Awareness Month. Times Square was full of teen girls rocking pink t-shirts with the words “Don’t Be A Statistic” written on them and balloons placed under the shirts to give the illusion of being pregnant.
